Pickering Glen Golf Course (formerly Glen Cedars) opened in 1968 and has been a favourite destination for Pickering and GTA golfers for generations. Our ownership and core leadership team is dedicated to service excellence, and the development of Pickering Glen as an inclusive place to connect through golf, comradery, and engagement with the outdoors.
Arrival
Pickering Glen has ample parking at the south side of the clubhouse. Golf guests can check in at the Pro Shop, or with the Starter.
Guests attending tournaments or social events can go directly to the Pro Shop.
Facilities
The Pickering Glen clubhouse features the Pro Shop, the PG Bistro (casual dining), the Draper Room (banquet hall), and the PG Bar.
PRO SHOP: Featuring rental equipment, accessories and apparel from top brands—including FootJoy, Adidas, Callaway, Levelwear, and more.
PG BISTRO: Before or after play – relax and raise a glass at Pickering Glen’s casual dining venue, open 7 days a week. Our generous north facing patio is perfect for surveying Holes 1 and 10.
THE DRAPER ROOM: Named in reference to the nearby ancient Huron-Wendat village site (the Draper Site), Pickering Glen’s banquet hall is available for all types of weddings, social and golf events. With a modern, neutral décor, the Draper Room is a warm and generous space within a picturesque country setting.
THE PG BAR: With a modern and sophisticated ambience, the PG Bar is the ideal intimate venue to host your informal wedding, engagement party, or wedding rehearsal dinner, and other social events. The PG BAR accommodates either a seated or standing cocktail reception. The adjacent private and licensed bar patio, overlooks the 9th hole.
THE TERRACE: With an uninterrupted westerly view over the 18th hole, and lush forest beyond, Pickering Glen’s stunning hillside venue is a delightful stage for your outdoor nuptials. Featuring a 165-square-foot raised platform, and lawn seating for up to 140 guests, The Terrace provides a charming setting overlooking the scenic grounds at Pickering Glen.

Guy has been a valued team member at Pickering Glen since 2011 (formerly at Glen Cedars Golf Club), initially as Pro Shop Assistant, and presently as Golf Manager and CPGA Club Pro (since 2020). Guy is certified through CPGA Ontario Professional Recognition Program (Top 100 certification), 2021 and 2022. With an exceptional work ethic, Guy is a true team player and mentor.
Golf Course Superintendent

Mike joined Pickering Glen in early 2023 as Golf Course Superintendent, bringing his experience from St. Andrew’s East Golf Club. He manages the maintenance and daily operation of the course, and is usually out on the grounds before the sun is up. Mike can’t fix your slice, but he’ll make sure it lands somewhere beautiful.
Food & Banquet Manager

Heather is a familiar face at Pickering Glen, where she has been Food & Banquet Manager since 2022 (back when we were Glen Cedars). She brings more than 20 years of golf club hospitality, including 11 years at Mill Run Golf Club and 12 years at Deer Creek. Whether it’s a quick bite after your round or the biggest day of your life, Heather makes sure it’s a success. She doesn’t do anything halfway, not even the turn.
Event Coordinator

Anna is Pickering Glen’s dedicated Event Coordinator, and she’s the reason our weddings and social events run like a well-played round. From intimate gatherings to large weddings, she handles the details large and small: timelines, seating charts, vendor calls and the last-minute surprises nobody saw coming. You bring the vision, and Anna makes sure it comes together on the day. With Anna on your team, your milestone event is always in the fairway.

Shelley joined Pickering Glen in early 2025 as Controller and Office Administrator, and she’s the one person at the Club who never loses track of a score. A former freelance bookkeeper for small businesses, she keeps the Club’s books balanced and the office running smoothly.

A former golf pro, Dave has owned and operated Carrick Macross Golf Centre in Maple and Uplands Golf Club/Ski Centre in Thornhill, and helped develop Trillium Ridge Golf Club and Copper Creek Golf & Country Club. He has been active with golf professional organizations throughout his career. After decades of building, running and playing golf courses, he still thinks the best round is the next one.

Jay is a seasoned business owner and builder with experience in golf club management, logistics, and mergers and acquisitions. A lifelong golfer and former Class A Head Professional with the CPGA (now PGA of Canada), he has held positions at Summit Golf Club, Bayview Golf Club and Bowmanville Country Club. These days he puts that experience to work behind the scenes at Pickering Glen, and he still plays the course the way a Class A pro should.
